H&H was and is serendipity – making happy and unexpected discoveries by accident.
Jon Hillier and Paul Hayward, from totally different backgrounds and with total different skill sets, found that they shared a passion for people and for business while both were searching for an appropriate vehicle to deliver that enthusiasm to a wider audience.
H&H was born.
Both Jon and Paul recognized that people and businesses of all shapes, sizes and complexions were coming up short, not for lack of some weird and wonderful knowledge possessed only by the few, but by missing out some of the basics that all successfully businesses do well.
When people set out in business it is not surprising that some necessary elements get missed – that’s a simple learning process.
Businesses that have made a start will realize that what got them here will not take them onto the next rung; they need to learn new things.
